![]() ![]() Faline believes that she’s due more than she has, and doesn’t care who she has to fuck or screw over to get what she wants. ![]() Faline is a poisonous nasty bitch who hates Elswyth, and wants everything that Elswyth has. ![]() Along for the ride is Faline, who is Elswyth’s step-daughter. They are lovers and appear to be very much in love. She and Eirik made an agreement, and now she’s come home with him. She was captured by Eirik, a Viking, when they went raiding in Northumberland. Emmanuelle kindly gave us a character list at the beginning of the book, which is handy for your ever faithful book blogger, that way I can go to that list so that I can make sure I spell everything correctly. I’ve read more than one book set in the past where the author just makes incredibly authentic to that time period and makes it hard to get into the story because you’re just battered by it. She’s managed to give her book a truly authentic Viking feel, but doesn’t smack us over the head with it, which can be a really hard balance to strike. She has obviously put a lot of work into research for this book, and it shows. Emmanuelle asked me if I wanted to review this, and since we all know how I have the crazy deep love for Vikings, of course, I said yes!īefore I get into my review, I just want to give major props to Emmanuelle. Ladies, gentlemen, and all other beings, today we have another newcomer to the blog, Emmanuelle de Maupassant with her Viking romance, Viking Wolf. ![]()
